    Herzlich Wilkommen! My name is Rich Johnson (though my pen name is R. Grant Johnson, hence the name of the site). I'm a reformed sports reporter who now works mostly in digital journalism. I am soon to be a Ph.D student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, and will be teaching Online Media courses in the fall. Beyond that, I'm addicted to sports and news, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I'm an aspiring fiction writer.
